Medi Foundation Foundation is an institution that emphasizes social solidarity in the face of addictions and makes extensive contributions to improving the mental health of all segments of society. The AA (alcoholic anonymity) they have made for the first time in Northern Cyprus summarizes only a small part of the difference they have created in the Turkish Cypriot Community. The Medi Foundation Foundation, which closely follows the latest research and studies in the world in the direction of addiction and healing, is determined and determined to overcome such vital problems that the Turkish Cypriot community needs in many ways, in solidarity.

Growing up is not easy, it is an adventurous walk into a future young people are not yet clear about, it means learning by doing, leaving home and security in order to acquire knowledge and abilities to be able to one day sustain oneself and become a valuable link in society.
However, the road is often dangerous, full of obstacles, temptations, loneliness and insecurity, and here it may happen that young people follow the wrong road sign that promises an easy way out of it, a deviation that is predestined to bring unhappiness and hurt. We all have gone through it on our road through life one way or the other, and we were grateful when by the side of our road we met with a person that gave us a helping hand to find out of a deep hole.
Medi Foundation and its Student Organisation, have proven over the last two years that they can be this helping hand for those who have lost their way and don’t know where to turn to;
Medi Foundation and its team of experts in important fields such as health, law and others, know of the many problems and can give advice and support. Also, many creative events for body and soul, workshops in the arts, are on their regular agenda, to offer a feeling of togetherness and positivity towards life.
I, as a journalist, writer and artist have always supported art education from early age on as it develops our human senses, it makes us observant and humble and with our attention directed towards the other; we also learn that we are but a link in the big chain of nature, if we accept that, we shall be secure. Therefore, I advise to accept the helping hand and continue the road with the help of the Medi Foundation family as long as need be, and perhaps one day turn around and help others.

Doing a good job is not always about impressive innovation. Sometimes it is merely about doing something with absolute dedication. Mr Medi has created great opportunities for the society he is a part of; Opportunities that come to those who stop Waiting and start Looking. Success comes to those who don’t overthink and start Doing. Congratulations for not only Looking at but seeing what’s needed out there and Doing everything thats needed for your community. If Oscars were given for a job well done, I’d undisputedly nominate you Mr Medi

At the time I was the Chair of The British Residents’ Society a government authorised Society which was set up in 1974 specifically for British Resident, in the TRNC.
I have worked with them ever since helping where we could publicise the great and necessary work that they do in the field of addiction with mental health and alcohol addiction.
To see them grow into areas such as to support students and all communities is another fine achievement and with their energy has come recognition from those decision makers who realise the benefits of such work.
At our 2022 Annual General Meeting they were awarded the Ralf Denktas award for outstanding achievement by a Cypriot organisation which has shown value to our members.
They continue to grow from strength to strength and we wish them every success in the future and continue to offer support for the challenges they face
Well Done

I met Ismet Medi and the Medi Foundation during my tenure in London as Ambassador in 2020. What the foundation has accomplished in a short period of time on sensitive topics such as the fight against addiction, addiction prevention, mental health is an important accomplishment.
The social work being carried out with universities, students is allowing for these projects to be visible, to raise awareness and to have influence in our country. I have seen these steps to have proven successful in being able to reach the desired audience. The work of NGO’s for public interest within the framework of their social responsibilities brings successful results. The Medi foundation, with all that it has accomplished in a short time, has become one of the important NGO’s serving in our country.
I congratulate the foundation, all the employees and the participants, and hope that their good work will continue to yield positive results for our country.
Kind regards

Medi Foundation is a great place for any students to meet friends, make new ones and learn about life. I found this student society very supportive, ethical and respectful. The events organized by Medi foundation are amazing and full of knowledge.
I enjoy participating in the activities offered by Medi Foundation because they are collaborative and fun. I would say one of the best foundations in Northern Cyprus.

Medi Foundation is an association of learned professionals in different specialties especially in the law profession that is geared towards assisting students through the forum of the Medi Students Society Community by teaching, instructing and guiding students generally.
Through this scheme students are assisted in educational, legal, economic, and societal matters by means of sensitization and provision of aids when and where necessary. The discounts gotten by students to access several different facilities in various towns are amazing as well.
This is where every student should belong!

There is this man, one once with many faces, now with only one Stumble he did, hurting, dirty, he tried, fell, powerless Pretending, a new face yet again, fooled none Hiding, in darkness, weak, ashamed… help He looked around, a hand, a stick, anything, was none, alone Tears, is this it, none to help… or is there still a way; please Then he looked inside and saw himself; hurt, dirty, fallen But he also saw a light, a spirit, a hope… the real him Distant words of a friend returned, “When down the only way left is up” Today this man stands tall and wears only one face, that of a friend A friend with an outstretched hand… to help… to empower… that spirit of light.
